Install Flash Player without having Administrative Privileges

Updated

Let’s assume you’re at work or at school and you’re on the computer. There’s an enormous chance that you have no administrative privileges and there’s absolutely nothing you can install onto the computer. Let us also assume that you want to use Mozilla Firefox instead of IE. That’s an easy one, ’cause we’ve all heard of Firefox Portable. Finally you download Firefox and you’re happy how you fooled Windows. So you’re browsing and you go to youtube. And what happens? You need to install the Flash Player. Damn… What now…

  1. Download the zip file fromHere (Present Flash version 11 Both 32 and 64 bit)  Alternative Link
  2. Extract and place the content in the folder : Firefox Portable: Data/plugins
  3. Restart the browser.

If Flash in installed in the system then follow the method:

  1. Copy these two files: flashplayer.xpt and NPSWF32.dll (NPSWF64.dll for 64 bit) from the default install directory (usually c:\Windows\system32\Macromedia\Flash\  and/OR C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe AIR\Versions\1.0\Resources )
  2. Paste them in the following folder in your portable installation of Firefox \App\firefox\plugins\
  3. Restart Firefox and check out a page with Flash content on it.
For updated 32bit verison Click here.

For those who are confused they can download the portable version of the firefox with flash player including flash player is provided here .
